Several Soccaskool players were invited to play on Vancouver Whitecaps Regional Academy teams at The Adidas Cup in Surrey recently. Our players produced some outstanding displays and earned excellent reviews from Whitecaps staff

Sophia, making a rare appearance in girls soccer (she plays on our U11 Boys Development Team) scored all four goals in a 4-0 win over Western Canada Rush on the Sunday, and followed that up with a second hat trick in the next game.

Kai, from our U12 Development Team, finished with seven goals over the course of the weekend, which helped his team to a 4 and 0 tournament record during which Dylan’s four goals and great performances also helped that team’s cause, along with rock solid performances at the back from Keaton.

Koen, Adrian and Trayton, who are pictured here, were on a different team . All three played a big part in their Whitecaps team being successful. These three are key players for Soccaskool’s U12 Development Team

Finn, from our U9 Development Team playing ‘up’ in a Whitecaps U10 team helped himself to four goals and took much of the credit for his team’s success.

Finally Jackson a past recipient of Okanagan Academy Player of the Month was attending his first tournament with the Okanagan Academy and made an impact on his team too.

Our players train hard all year round and are very committed to being all that they can be as soccer players. It is great to see them performing so well and earning recognition from The Whitecaps Regional Academies Staff.
