Braden Peters
Braden is a full-time Staff Coach at OFC. He holds a Provincial B License. He began his soccer career playing locally in Kelowna, and has basically played for every local organization. After early years in OMYSA and Kelowna United, he found himself on Coach Andy’s TOFC team and OKM Huskies. Braden went on to win 2 Valley Championships and a Provincial Title with OKM Huskies, plus a Provincial Bronze medal. Braden and the Huskies were recognized for their 28-0-0 season in 2012 with the “Team of the year” honor at the Kelowna Civic Awards. The provincial title was the first for OKM in any sport for 26 years.
It was clear early on that Braden would take well to coaching, during his early playing days, Braden would regularly help on the first Soccaskool academy sessions and run groups on the yearly summer camp. His first team with Soccaskool was the 2008 U10 boys, and he soon started working alongside Coach Andrew as the assistant coach for the 2004 and 2005 TOFC boys as well. Braden quickly established himself as a key part of OFC, doing excellent work with both U13 boys and girls groups as well as a with a variety of academy classes. Braden is currently a full-time OFC coach and is the head coach for the 2010 boys and 2005/2006 girls, who benefit greatly from his passionate and knowledgeable approach to coaching.

As well as coaching 2 OFC teams and leading sessions on OFC Academy, Braden proudly represents our PCSL program. Braden is one of many talented and dedicated athletes who has benefited from Okanagan FC’s premier men’s program. Braden was an ever-present in our squad last year and is one of the most dependable and consistent members of the PCSL team, come see him play at the Apple Bowl next season !
In 2021 Braden embarked upon his CSA National Youth License, and he is currently working his way towards achieving that coaching qualification.
