Our first featured player of 2017 is none other than Charlie P.
Charlie is one of our very best and is the ‘engine’ of our excellent U11 Development Team. A natural leftie, he strikes the ball extremely well indeed and his strength and determination are without equal.
Charlie attended the Barcelona FC summer camp last year in Kelowna and impressed the Barca camp head coach so much that he was invited to Vancouver to represent the Vancouver Barca academy in a national tournament with all of the other Barca academies across Canada.
His performances at that tournament were so strong that he was invited to Spain this year to spend a week at La Masia, the actual Barcelona academy where Messi learned to play. Amazingly, two Soccaskool players were invited to Spain, and Luka will also be heading there along with Charlie in the Spring

Coaches Comment –
Charlie has been with the academy now for a few years and is a fantastic role model for all our younger players. Charlie has an excellent game sense and is a real leader both on and off the field, he is an excellent trainer who works very hard at his game and consistently puts in maximum effort to everything he does at Soccaskool. It has been a pleasure for us to work with Charlie over the years and see his game take leaps and bounds in that time and we very much look forward to seeing his progress continue over the next few years and beyond!
