Our Senior Men’s First Team will be competing in The Pacific Coast Soccer League in 2019. The PCSL is an Inter City, adult league, with a Spring and Summer playing season of May through to the end of July. The league consists of teams from The Lower Mainland, Fraser Valley, Vancouver Island and The BC Interior. The League’s top four teams each year qualify for playoffs and compete for The Sheila Anderson Memorial Challenge Cup. The original PCSL was formed in 1908, making it the oldest league in Canada.
Find out more about the league by visiting the PCSL website.
Tryouts for our PCSL team will be held on week beginning March 11th 2019. Players interested in trying out for the team should register HERE. There is no fee to try out and there are no player fees associated with playing for the team.
Our PCSL team will play seven home matches during the playing season, on Saturday afternoons at The Apple Bowl. Away matches will be double header road trips and there will be four of them. All travel and accommodations will be organised and paid for by the club.
PCSL players will train twice a week through the playing season with a Strength and Conditioning element included within this. Training sessions will not conflict with Kelowna Men’s League scheduling, allowing players to participate in KMSL as well as PCSL. Players on Okanagan FC PCSL team do NOT need to play for OFC KMSL team…the two are completely separate.
